This January 2023 we are starting a large reforestation initiative where we will start to plant approximately 6000 trees that are native to Portugal in an effort to reforest an area that was burnt by a large fire in July 2021.
Our tree planting partner Gone West has just delivered the trees to us directly from the nursery. We have volunteering positions available to prepare the terrain, setup the watering infrastructure and to plant/track each tree throughout the project.

• Pinus Pinea
• Fraxinus angustifolia
• Quercus Suber
• Quercus Palustris
• Castanea Sativa
• Crataegus monogyna
• Myrtus communis
• Quercus Faginea
• Quercus Ilex / rotundifolia
• Alnus glutinosa
